G22B Streaming Concert Video
This time around, we hired the professionals over at PhotoGraphic TV to capture the concert. Boy, they sure didn't disappoint. You can purchase the entire concert for $10 HERE. Or, just click the picture to the right.
It's honestly better than any of us could have imagined, and a really fun video that we believe did a great job of capturing the day. Thanks to all who helped and came out!
G22B Concert Information
When things opened up again, we played a G Series event called G22A in June. We had so much fun that we decided to fit one more G Series concert in this year with less capacity restrictions. So here we are, OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCING G22B! G22B will be a part of the 2021 Laughing Eagle Music Summer Concert Series; Proudly sponsored by Lawson's Finest Liquids. Come join us for a day of Lawson's Finest Liquids, food trucks, a lawn-game-fueled hang session and some great music on the speakers. And then... a couple of sets of original music by The Grift that will span their catalog of more than two decades. Ok, one or two covers might slip in, you never know.
Tickets to G22B are $30 advance/$35 at the door. $1 from every ticket sold will go to the Vermont Arts Council to help support their efforts. Please check our website and social media for updates on ticket availability.
We'd love to connect again - we can't get enough of playing live again, and the G Series events are so fun for all of us. See below for tickets, information and FAQ's. Thanks so much for considering another summer hang with us!
We just had to share the video that Peter put together. Thanks pd!

FAQ's for G22B...
What the heck is the G Series?
The G Series concerts started with G15, then G20, then the deuce, deuce - G22A. Now G22B. All with the generous support of Lawson's Finest Liquids and many other folks. The G Series are events that are designed with the intent of highlighting the 20+ years and almost 100 original songs written by the band and it's various family members. You never know who's going to show up onstage at the G Series events. But with the core musicians of the band playing so many varied musical gigs over the course of a year, we wanted to make sure we celebrated the songwriting piece of their work with these concerts:). More info to come on the G Series and G23 events in the coming months, but 2022 should be fun if you want to take a couple road-trips. Ok. Maybe one flight, but we promise the weather will be nice.
Why is the logo an ear of corn?
The ear of corn logo was hand drawn by our very own Peter Day. On his design: "I was thinking that since this is a late summer edition of the G22 series, I wanted an image that is emblematic of late summer in Vermont. A ripe ear of corn felt pretty spot on. Plus, it just makes for a cool image.". We could not agree more. Peter Day sure can draw with a marker (and probably other stuff also). Thanks a bunch, Peter.
Why are you having it at Laughing Eagle Music @ 441?
We held G15 at Mad River Glen, and we also held G20 at Mad River Glen in Waitsfield, Vermont and it was a ton of fun. In the spring of 2021, when the pandemic looked like it was slowing down and the restrictions in Vermont loosened, the band was ready to play a G series show. Having partnered with Laughing Eagle Music on a number of different projects, they told us about a venue they were working on creating. We said we would love to be a part of the first concert series, and G22A was born. We had SUCH a fun time, the venue is set up in an amazing way for both the band and our fans. And we love the group over at Laughing Eagle Music. So, we decided to do one more event with them before the snow flies. We hope you will join us at our party;).
I ordered a ticket, and I didn't receive the confirmation or the ticket. Help!
We are a bit new to this internal ticketing system as well, so we hear ya. But we will figure it out together - no need to worry:). First, make "email@example.com" a preferred sender if you have a strong spam filter (maybe you are looking at this before you order?). Second , check your spam folder for the ticket and confirmation. Some emails didn't think we were legit. Even when we told them that we were 2 legit 2 quit. Weird. If you have tried everything, don't hesitate to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org OR email@example.com and we will help you out. You will pick up your wristband and button at the door with valid ID.
What's the schedule?
The doors open at 4pm, and we will have some lawn games and a playlist by El Jefe playing on the speakers. There will also be food trucks and some Lawson's Finest Liquids (among other beverages) to sip and nosh on. At 7:15, the band will take the stage for 2 sets of music with a hard stop at 10PM. Come have a party with your friends before the show...
What can/am I allowed to bring?
We will be following the current state COVID guidelines. Bring your chair, blanket and/or a small umbrella. Beer, wine and food will be available for purchase. No outside food or alcoholic beverages can be brought into the fenced concert area. Come support your local food trucks! Valid IDs are required.
