The Grift is a full time touring quartet based out of Burlington, VT
A diverse set includes mostly original songs with a few tasty covers mixed in from a wide range of styles.
Tight vocal harmonies, clever lyrics, catchy melodies and often humorous covers in any musical style keep audience members dancing, cheering, singing along and wondering they'll pull off next.
Influences include (but are not limited to) The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, U2, Counting Crows, Phish, Pink Floyd, Dispatch
Original music has been aired on radio stations from Vermont (WRMC 91.1 FM, WNCS 104.7 FM The Point) to Indiana (The Edge 96.3) to Los Angeles (WCLA 99.3), including live performances.

The Grift has shared the stage with such bands as: The Motet, Dispatch, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Max Creek, Zox, and Liquid Soul. They played for ESPN at both the 2002 Great Outdoor Games in Lake Placid, NY and the 2002 X Games in Philadelphia, PA. In March of 2006 and 2007, they were the house band at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville in Negril, Jamaica.
Grift lead guitarist Clint Bierman co-wrote "I'm On My Way" with Rich Price, which was included on the Shrek 2 soundtrack (released in 2004).
